Primary Purpose:
Plan and provide direct/indirect therapy to students with mental, physical, or emotional disabilities. Assess students and provide therapeutic intervention to maximize physical or mental functioning, increase independent functioning, so students may benefit from their special educational program
Qualification Guidelines:
Education/Certifications:
Bachelor's degree Valid Texas license as an occupational therapist granted by the Texas Board of Occupational Therapy Examiners (TBOTE)
Experience:
One yearexperience as an occupational therapist Experience with pediatrics and/or school-based therapy (preferred)
Special Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Knowledge of occupational therapy procedures, and indications for occupational therapy for students with disabilities. Skill in use oftests and measurements for assessing fine and sensory-motor function. Ability to instruct students and manage their behavior Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.

$299.41 to $422.70 Per Day Job Requirements At least 1 year(s) of relevant experience preferred. Bachelor degree preferred. Citizenship, residency or work visa required
