Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract This contract opportunity in Herriman, UT, offers a focused role providing occupational therapy (OT) and physical therapy (PT) services within a school setting. The initial assignment involves conducting a singular assessment for OT and PT on two students. Based on the outcomes of these assessments, there is potential to extend the contract to providing ongoing weekly services to one or two students.
Responsibilities include:
Conduct comprehensive OT and PT assessments for students to evaluate their therapeutic needs Develop individualized therapy plans tailored to each student's requirements Implement therapy interventions and monitor progress Communicate effectively with school staff and families regarding student progress and needs Maintain accurate documentation following school and regulatory guidelines Desired qualifications and experience: Valid licensure or certification in Occupational Therapy and/or Physical Therapy, with experience in school-based settings Strong assessment and therapeutic skills for pediatric populations Ability to work independently and manage contract assignments reliably Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with educators and families
