Responsibilities Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans Assess functional abilities related to activities of daily living (ADLs) and instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs) Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions to improve independence, strength, coordination, cognition, and safety Train patients in adaptive techniques and the use of assistive equipment Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, physical therapists, speech therapists, and interdisciplinary team members Educate patients and families on recovery strategies, home safety, and functional independence Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate Complete timely and accurate documentation Assist with discharge planning to support successful transitions and long-term outcomes Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program Current Occupational Therapist license (or eligibility for licensure in Utah) Strong communication and teamwork skills Passion for helping patients maximize independence, dignity, and quality of life Experience in skilled nursing or post-acute rehabilitation preferred but not required Benefits Competitive compensation Flexible Full-Time and Part-Time schedules Sign-On Bonus or Relocation Assistance for Full-Time OTs Leadership and professional development opportunities Supportive team culture Opportunity to make a lasting impact on patients and families every day!
