Job Description

You'll collaborate closely with educators, support staff, and families to foster an inclusive and empowering environment for students of all backgrounds.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program Active and current OT license in the state (or eligibility for licensure) Previous experience working in a school setting is highly preferred Strong understanding of pediatric therapy, IEP processes, and relevant federal/local regulations Ability to communicate effectively with children, families, and multidisciplinary teams Exceptional organizational and documentation skills What you'll do: Assess and evaluate students' functional abilities and needs within the educational environment Develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy plans aligned with student IEPs Consult with teachers and parents to adapt classroom activities, recommend accommodations, and provide strategies to support academic achievement Document all services provided and maintain ongoing progress reports Participate in IEP meetings to communicate recommendations and progress Deliver both direct and indirect therapy services Contribute to a positive school culture and advocate for student access and independence This role offers the chance to apply your specialized skills while gaining valuable experiences in a dynamic school-based setting.
