Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract This opportunity offers a full-time or part-time contract position for an Occupational Therapist specializing in school-based services. The role is designed for professionals who are skilled in providing Occupational Therapy (OT) services within school settings. This is a travel position located in Sandy, UT, with an immediate start and continuing through the end of the school year (ASAP-EOSY).
Responsibilities:
Deliver individualized occupational therapy interventions to students within the school environment. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student development and learning. Conduct assessments to identify student needs and create effective therapy plans. Maintain detailed documentation in compliance with school and regulatory standards. Participate in meetings and coordinate services as required to enhance student outcomes.
Qualifications:
Licensed Occupational Therapist with experience in school settings. Strong understanding of pediatric OT practices and school-based therapy. Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with interdisciplinary teams. Ability to manage caseload independently with a student-centered approach. Flexibility to travel and adapt to various school environments.
