Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting students' growth and development as a skilled Occupational Therapist in a school-based setting near Santa Clara, UT. This contract position allows you to work collaboratively with educators and families, empowering students to overcome challenges and access their education to the fullest.
Qualifications and Experience:
Valid Occupational Therapist license in the state Experience working with children or adolescents, preferably in school or pediatric environments Proficiency in assessment, intervention, and documentation for students with diverse needs Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, support staff, families, and multidisciplinary teams Exceptional communication, adaptability, and problem-solving skills
Responsibilities:
Conduct evaluations and assessments to identify students' functional strengths and needs within the educational setting Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student IEP goals Provide direct and consultative OT services, as well as recommend adaptive equipment or environmental modifications Collaborate with teachers and staff to support classroom participation and student engagement Establish strong rapport with students and foster a positive, supportive learning environment Accurately document services, progress, and outcomes in compliance with school and regulatory standards
