Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Bring your expertise in occupational therapy to support students in a dynamic educational environment on a contract basis. This role is tailored for dedicated professionals eager to make a meaningful difference in students' daily lives by fostering essential life and learning skills.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Valid license or certification as an Occupational Therapist (OT) Experience working in schools or with school-aged children strongly preferred Strong knowledge of school-based OT best practices and IEP processes Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams Excellent organizational and communication skills
Responsibilities:
Assess students' needs to develop and implement individualized OT treatment plans Deliver direct and consultative therapy services following IEP goals and school policies Maintain complete and timely documentation, including progress notes and reports for meetings Collaborate regularly with teachers, paraprofessionals, parents, and other service providers Offer recommendations and strategies to enhance participation and success in classroom settings Participate in IEP meetings, staff consultations, and training sessions as required In this contract role, you'll enjoy the chance to collaborate within a supportive school system and work closely with students, teachers, and families.
