Occupational Therapist (OT) | Outpatient Clinic | Full-time or Part-time | Bluefield & Tazewell, VA Are you an Occupational Therapist looking for a rewarding opportunity with a diverse outpatient caseload? Join our growing therapy team in Bluefield, VA, where you'll primarily provide care in our Bluefield clinic while also supporting patient coverage in the Tazewell area. This role offers the opportunity to work with a mix of adult and pediatric patients, providing clinical variety in a collaborative outpatient environment. Whether you're an experienced clinician or a new graduate, you'll be supported by an interdisciplinary team dedicated to delivering compassionate, evidence-based care while helping you grow professionally.
Your Role:
As an Occupational Therapist in our outpatient clinic, you will: Evaluate and treat adult and pediatric patients in an outpatient setting. Provide patient care primarily in Bluefield, with coverage responsibilities in the Tazewell area as needed. Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans that support each patient's functional goals. Implement therapeutic interventions to improve ADLs, fine motor skills, sensory processing, functional independence, and overall participation in daily activities. Supervise and provide clinical guidance to one Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA). Educate patients and caregivers on home programs and strategies to maximize outcomes. Collaborate with Physical Therapists, Speech-Language Pathologists, and other members of the interdisciplinary care team. Complete timely and accurate documentation within the EMR. Requirements Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program Current or eligible Virginia OT license Passion for working with both pediatric and adult populations Strong communication and interpersonal skills Outpatient experience preferred, but new grads welcome to apply
