Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract To Hire Make an immediate impact supporting students by utilizing your occupational therapy expertise in a dynamic school environment near Chesterfield, VA. This contract-to-hire opportunity begins in June and focuses on providing critical in-person services, primarily on a PRN basis. Ideal candidates will play a vital role in supporting Extended School Year (ESY) and compensatory service needs.
Key Qualifications:
Valid Occupational Therapist license for the state School-based OT experience preferred Familiarity with ESY and compensatory programming a plus Ability to deliver in-person therapy to students with diverse needs Strong communication and organizational skills Adaptable and eager to assist wherever needed
Primary Responsibilities:
Offer occupational therapy services to students in accordance with individualized education plans (IEPs) Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to ensure successful student participation Assess student needs and deliver evidence-based interventions Provide assistance during Extended School Year programming and for compensatory services as determined by student requirements Deliver flexible support; take on PRN assignments as assigned, ensuring no lapse in student care Carefully document interventions, progress, and outcomes compliant with school/district policies
