Qualifications:
Valid and current Occupational Therapy licensure (or eligibility) in Virginia Previous school-based therapy experience highly preferred Experience working with students with autism is a plus Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Ability to adapt and develop individualized treatment plans
Responsibilities:
Deliver occupational therapy services to students with autism, addressing their unique needs Collaborate with educators, families, and other specialists to implement effective interventions Conduct assessments and develop individualized education program (IEP) goals Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
