Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity serving students in a vibrant elementary setting. Utilize your expertise as an Occupational Therapist to support children from pre-K through 5th grade, making a direct impact in their day-to-day school experiences for both general and special education—including self-contained settings for students with autism and adaptive needs. Your knowledge of school-based OT interventions will let you help each child achieve their goals and unlock their potential. The assignment follows the academic calendar, beginning August 3rd, 2026, and continuing through May 28th, 2027, working Monday through Friday for a total of 35 hours per week. What you'll contribute: Deliver occupational therapy services to elementary students, with a flexible caseload that may include both general and special education populations Conduct assessments and create individualized treatment plans focused on improving students' academic participation, motor skills, self-care, and sensory processing Collaborate with dedicated teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to champion student progress Support students across a variety of learning environments, adapting your approach for self-contained and inclusive classrooms Maintain timely documentation, monitor progress, and communicate effectively with all stakeholders Ideal candidates bring: A master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program Current state licensure (or ability to obtain) Experience or strong interest in school-based OT, working with children on the autism spectrum, and/or serving diverse learning communities Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills A heart for supporting both general education and special education students If you're eager to make a difference while enjoying a consistent weekday schedule, this role offers the chance to grow professionally and positively influence young learners.
