Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact in the lives of K-12 students as a contract occupational therapist. If you are passionate about supporting learners' development and promoting functional independence, this opportunity near Woodford, VA offers a dynamic school-based environment for two dedicated OTs.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver both direct and consultative OT services in accordance with students' IEPs Perform comprehensive evaluations and ongoing assessments to identify each student's needs Design and execute tailored treatment plans to address fine motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living skills Collaborate closely with teachers, special education staff, and families to ensure optimal student outcomes Maintain thorough documentation and adhere to all state and district standards Actively participate in IEP meetings, contributing expertise to goal-setting and progress monitoring Encourage and support students to achieve functional success within the school environment
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Occupational Therapy Current Virginia OT license (or ability to secure licensure prior to start) Prior experience in a school-based OT role is a plus, but not required Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational skills Caseload /
Assignment Details:
Serve a diverse population across grades
K-12 37.5
