Current Virginia Occupational Therapist license required Experience in a school-based OT setting strongly preferred Knowledge of therapeutic intervention strategies for diverse student populations, including those with IEPs Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and multidisciplinary team members Ability to adapt and prioritize in a dynamic school environment PreK-12 experience is a plus

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver occupational therapy services for students across multiple schools, addressing fine motor skills, sensory processing, and adaptive functioning Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans based on student needs and individualized goals Participate in the IEP process, providing input and collaborating with educators and support staff Track progress, document outcomes, and adjust interventions as needed for optimal student growth Educate school personnel and families in strategies to support student participation and success
