Job Description

Overview Occupational Therapist - Acute Care, Randolph, VT, United States. This travel assignment begins on 07/20/2026 for a 13-week duration with guaranteed 40 hours per week. Shift is 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. The role supports inpatient rehabilitation within an acute care setting. Weekly pay ranges from $2,010 to $2,102. Setting:
acute care inpatient rehab Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations for adult inpatients on the rehab unit and develop individualized treatment plans. Implement evidence-based interventions to maximize independence in activities of daily living and safety with functional tasks. Monitor progress, reassess goals, and modify treatment plans as needed; document outcomes in the Meditech EMR. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team (nursing, physicians, physical therapy, social work) to support discharge planning and transitions of care. Educate patients and families on activities, exercise programs, energy conservation, and assistive devices to facilitate safe self-care after discharge.
