Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic contract opportunity supporting student success across an entire district as a dedicated Occupational Therapist. This full-time role spans four schools, working with learners from kindergarten through high school. Your expertise will reach students of all ages, helping them thrive academically and socially throughout the academic year.
Key Qualifications:
Current Occupational Therapist license or certificate required for Vermont School-based OT experience strongly preferred Ability to support students in diverse age groups (K-12) Excellent collaboration and communication skills Strong knowledge of IEP processes and occupational therapy best practices in educational settings
Your Impact:
Deliver district-wide occupational therapy services across four schools Assess and treat students with a range of needs, creating individualized therapy plans Work closely with teachers, families, and support staff to integrate strategies into the classroom Document assessments, interventions, and progress as required by district and state guidelines Provide consultative support and training for staff on sensory, fine motor, and adaptive strategies Participate in IEP meetings, sharing insights to support learning and development Enjoy the stability of a full-time schedule, Monday through Friday, with 35-37.5 hours per week guaranteed. The contract runs from late August through mid-June, aligning with the school year and allowing for meaningful relationships with your students and colleagues.
