Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding role providing district-wide Occupational Therapy services across K-12 settings for the 2026-2027 school year. Work within a supportive environment where your expertise will benefit students across four different buildings, making a tangible impact on their learning and development.
Key Qualifications:
Current Occupational Therapist license and Vermont (VT) OT Certificate required Previous experience as a school-based Occupational Therapist (preferred) Ability to manage a caseload spanning elementary, middle, and high school students Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with teachers, administrators, students, and families Commitment to supporting diverse learners in inclusive educational settings
Responsibilities:
Deliver direct and consultative OT services to students in grades K-12 to support their academic participation and functional independence Assess and document student needs, develop individualized treatment plans, and monitor progress Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) development and review Travel between four buildings within the district as needed Provide training, resources, and support to staff and families to promote students' skills and participation Maintain accurate, confidential documentation in accordance with school and federal guidelines
