Job Description

Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A contracted Occupational Therapist specializing in school-based services is sought for a part-time role supporting students in grades K-12. This position involves delivering Occupational Therapy (OT) through both telehealth and direct school-based interventions in Wilmington, VT.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide OT evaluations, individualized treatment plans, and ongoing therapy services to approximately 15 students across K-12. Deliver services during Extended School Year (ESY) programming and throughout the standard academic calendar. Utilize telehealth platforms effectively to conduct assessments and therapy sessions as needed. Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support student needs and optimize functional outcomes. Document services in compliance with regulatory requirements and client goals.
Qualifications:
Valid Occupational Therapy license suitable for school-based practice. Experience providing OT services within a school setting across a K-12 student population. Proficiency with telehealth delivery methods and technology. Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 15 students. Understanding of ESY programming requirements. Strong communication and organizational skills.
