Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as an Occupational Therapist supporting students in a dynamic school setting near beautiful Woodstock, VT. Desired Qualifications & Experience:
Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program Current OT licensure, or eligibility for licensure, as required for Vermont schools Experience with pediatric populations or K-12 students—school-based experience strongly preferred Familiarity with IEP processes, assessments, and therapeutic intervention planning Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills Enthusiasm for working in a travel therapy capacity and adapting to new environmentsKey Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging occupational therapy services to students with diverse needs Conduct thorough assessments and develop tailored intervention plans Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support students' educational goals Document progress, attend IEP meetings, and maintain accurate records in accordance with school requirements Offer strategies and support for classroom accommodations, equipment needs, and overall student success Foster a positive, inclusive therapy environment that encourages student growth and participation This full-time, 40-hour per week assignment is ideal for an experienced or adventurous OT eager to travel, learn, and contribute to a vibrant school community. The length of this contract ensures both stability and plenty of opportunity for professional development throughout the entire school year.
