Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students with your expertise in occupational therapy! This engaging position offers the chance to make a meaningful difference within a reputable educational setting, working closely with children and school teams to support student success for the remainder of this school year, with the option to extend into the next academic year. As an occupational therapist in this role, you'll provide direct and consultative services tailored to individual student needs while collaborating with educators, families, and other professionals. Your dedication will help students develop essential skills for classroom participation, independence, and overall well-being.
Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
Current, active Washington OT license required Minimum two years of pediatric or school-based OT experience strongly preferred Must possess an active Medicaid provider number Must have a CAQH profile and be credentialed with additional insurance companies Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills Flexibility for a caseload to be determined and the ability to adapt to evolving student needs
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver occupational therapy evaluations, direct services, and ongoing interventions in accordance with student IEPs/504 plans Consult and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including teachers and families Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with state, federal, and district regulations Support the transition of students between settings, grade levels, or service types as needed
