Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding school-based Occupational Therapist opportunity in a supportive educational setting for the 2026-2027 school year. This full-time contract position offers the chance to truly impact students' lives, working collaboratively with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams. Your expertise will help foster student independence and promote positive outcomes for learners in a vibrant community just outside Auburn, WA.
Key Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
Master's degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program Active state OT license (or eligibility for licensure) Previous experience providing OT services in school or pediatric settings preferred Familiarity with IEP development and documentation Strong collaboration and communication skills Ability to adapt creatively to diverse student needs Commitment to culturally responsive and inclusive practices
Core Responsibilities:
Provide direct occupational therapy services to students, addressing fine motor, sensory, and functional skills Conduct comprehensive assessments and participate in IEP meetings as part of the educational team Collaborate with teachers, parents, and related service providers to integrate therapy goals within classroom activities Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with district and state requirements Contribute to positive school climate through consultation, coaching, and resource sharing This role offers a unique opportunity to be an integral part of students' educational journey from ASAP hire through the end of the school year.
