Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Make a meaningful difference as an Occupational Therapist supporting students in the vibrant Seattle area. Opportunities are available for both part-time and full-time contracts, offering a chance to work directly within local schools and positively impact the lives of children and adolescents.
There are two openings available:
A .8 FTE
Occupational Therapist role (4 days per week) in South Seattle, covering the entire school year from late August through mid-June. A full-time Occupational Therapist role in Southwest Seattle beginning in January and continuing through the end of the school year. Your expertise in school-based occupational therapy will help students gain essential skills for academic and personal success.
Desired Qualifications:
Active OT licensure for Washington State, or eligibility to obtain it promptly Previous experience working in school settings is highly preferred Strong knowledge of IEP processes, therapy documentation, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with students, staff, and families Ability to manage a dynamic caseload and adapt to changing student needs
Primary Responsibilities:
Assess students' abilities and develop individualized treatment plans to enhance access to learning Provide direct occupational therapy services on campus, focusing on sensory, fine motor, and self-regulation skills Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and parents to integrate therapy strategies into daily routines Attend and contribute to IEP meetings and student support conferences Maintain accurate records and progress reports for caseload Both roles offer the opportunity to work in diverse, supportive educational environments alongside other passionate professionals.
