Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity serving middle and high school students by providing specialized Occupational Therapy support at a single site location near the Bellingham area. You'll work 30 hours per week with a manageable caseload of no more than 20 students, many of whom benefit from targeted support in self-regulation and fine-motor skills. This role offers a unique chance to empower a diverse student group, including a significant Native American population, through individualized and meaningful interventions. Collaborate closely with another experienced OT who is on-site full days each Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday and is eager to provide insight and partnership. The supportive environment makes it easy to share ideas, develop strategies, and ensure the best outcomes for students.
Desired Qualifications:
Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program Valid licensure or eligibility to practice as an OT in Washington State Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred Confidence working independently and value in collaborative practice Strong understanding of self-regulation and fine-motor interventions for students Culturally responsive and comfortable engaging with diverse populations
