Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding, full-time contract position for the 2026-2027 school year, where you will provide essential occupational therapy services to students in the vibrant academic environment near Bremerton, WA. This in-person opportunity is perfect for experienced OTs looking to make a lasting impact across diverse school communities from August 31, 2026, through June 17, 2027. With multiple openings available, there's room to collaborate with passionate colleagues and support a caseload of approximately 34 students, ensuring every child receives the interventions and care they deserve.
Desired Qualifications:
Valid Washington Occupational Therapy License and ESA certification (please submit copies with your application) Previous experience in school-based OT services is highly valued Exceptional communication, organization, and interpersonal skills Ability to adapt interventions to a range of elementary, middle, or high school students Commitment to fostering an inclusive, growth-focused environment
Key Responsibilities:
Assess, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans for students, monitoring progress toward IEP goals Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to support student success and promote functional independence Document sessions, progress, and recommendations in compliance with state and district requirements Partner with other OTs to exchange strategies and contribute positively to the school community Travel between assigned schools as necessary to meet caseload needs Working here offers the chance for professional growth in a supportive school district while positively impacting students' lives.
