Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Exciting opportunity for a skilled Occupational Therapist to make a lasting impact across elementary, middle, and high school students for the 2026-2027 academic year. This full-time, onsite contract role offers the chance to work closely with a diverse student population with a range of needs, from mild to severe disabilities. Located near Castle Rock, WA, you'll join an engaging school environment focused on student success and developmental growth.
Key Qualifications:
Washington State Occupational Therapist (OT) certification required Previous school-based OT experience preferred, but passionate therapists new to schools are welcome Strong communication skills for collaborating with educators, families, and support staff Ability to adapt interventions for students with various disabilities Commitment to promoting student independence in school settings
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students across K-12 settings Assess, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans supporting each student's IEP goals Collaborate with teachers and multidisciplinary teams to foster supportive learning environments Maintain timely and accurate documentation of interventions, progress, and assessments Educate students, families, and staff about appropriate adaptive strategies and assistive technology Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise in student planning Support transitions between grade levels and settings as needed This contract position is Monday through Friday, 7 hours per day, offering a structured workweek for optimal work-life balance during the school year.
