Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact supporting students through expert occupational therapy services in a collaborative educational environment. This part-time contract position for the 2026-2027 school year offers the opportunity to apply your OT expertise in a school-based setting, working closely with faculty and families to help students thrive academically and personally.
Desired Qualifications:
Valid OT license (Washington State or eligibility to obtain) Previous experience delivering occupational therapy in a school setting preferred Familiarity with IEP process, evaluation, and documentation Skilled in providing a wide range of direct and consultative OT services for school-aged children Ability to collaborate with diverse teams including teachers, parents, and other professionals Strong organizational and time-management skills Compassion, adaptability, and a student-centered approach
Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments to identify students' OT needs Develop and implement individualized intervention plans to support student participation and learning Document progress and maintain accurate records in accordance with school and state guidelines Consult regularly with teachers, administrators, and families to integrate therapeutic strategies into the classroom and at home Participate in IEP meetings, providing expertise on OT goals and progress Deliver both individual and small-group therapy in flexible school-based settings Stay current on best practices and guidelines related to school-based occupational therapy You'll enjoy working in a supportive educational environment that values your professional knowledge and encourages your ideas.
