Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Make a difference in the lives of students by bringing your expertise as a school-based Occupational Therapist to a full-time contract role for the 2026-27 academic year. Located near Elma, WA, this onsite position offers the chance to positively impact learners, collaborating closely with educators and supporting staff to ensure every child thrives in a supportive environment. You'll have the opportunity to deliver assessments, develop targeted intervention plans, and work hands-on with students to help them achieve their fullest potential. This rewarding, full-time role spans 37.5 hours per week during the school year, allowing you to actively engage with a diverse student body and help them navigate daily challenges with confidence. What we're looking for: Master's degree in Occupational Therapy (OT) Current Washington state OT license, or eligibility to obtain Recent experience providing OT services in a school or pediatric setting Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills Enthusiasm for working with children and adolescents in an educational setting Key responsibilities: Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and interpret results Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students Collaborate with special education teams and classroom teachers Participate in IEP meetings, progress monitoring, and goal development Provide direct therapy in one-on-one and small group settings Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports Educate staff and families on strategies and accommodations This onsite opportunity allows you to be an integral part of a dedicated school community.
