School (Elementary-High school) in Federal Way, WA Travel assignment through Healthforce Healthcare LLC Responsibilities Provide occupational therapy services to students in a school-based setting, including evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment planning. Implement evidence-based OT interventions addressing fine motor skills, handwriting, sensory processing, self-care, and functional participation in classroom activities. Develop and monitor IEP-related goals; communicate progress to families and educational teams; participate in IEP meetings as needed. Collaborate with teachers, therapists, administrators, and families to integrate OT goals into classroom activities and accommodations. Document services, progress notes, and outcomes in district-approved records; maintain timely, accurate documentation and protect student confidentiality. Recommend classroom modifications, equipment, or adaptive strategies to support participation and independence. Requirements Availability for a travel assignment spanning approximately 41 weeks. Ability to work in a school-based setting with standard school hours (approximately 08:00-16:00) and 7.5 hours per day. Effective collaboration with multidisciplinary school teams and families. Proficiency in documenting therapy sessions, goals, and progress in the required records. Ability to adhere to school district policies, timelines, and confidentiality standards.
