Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Make a positive impact in the lives of students as an Occupational Therapist for the 2026-2027 school year! Multiple opportunities are available for qualified OTs seeking a rewarding, full-time, in-person position supporting students' growth and success. You'll work closely with interdisciplinary teams to provide essential therapy services across a variety of grade levels, determined by your skills and the district's needs.
Key Qualifications:
Valid Occupational Therapist license in Washington State ESA (Educational Staff Associate) certification required Must be fingerprinted through OSPI Experience providing OT services in a school-based setting preferred Comfortable working on-site in a K-12 educational environment Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills Enthusiasm for supporting children's development and educational goals
Responsibilities:
Deliver direct and consultative OT services to students according to IEPs and 504 plans Assess, document, and evaluate student progress, adapting interventions as needed Collaborate with teachers, educational staff, and families to support student participation Support diverse student needs across grade bands; caseload assignments will be matched to experience and district requirements Attend meetings, contribute to IEP development, and provide training to staff as needed Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with district and state guidelines
