Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity in a vibrant educational setting serving students in the Hoquiam area for the upcoming 2026-27 school year. This full-time, onsite role offers 37.5 hours per week, providing dedicated Occupational Therapy support to young learners and helping them achieve their fullest potential academically and functionally. Qualifications & Experience Needed:
Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program Current state licensure (or eligibility) to practice as an OT Prior experience as a school-based Occupational Therapist preferred Knowledge of IEP processes and implementation of student-centered therapy plans Ability to adapt and support diverse student needs in a school environment Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with staff, students, and families Commitment to maintaining documentation and accountability standards
Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments and provide direct OT services to students according to IEPs Develop and implement individualized treatment interventions in the school setting Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to best support student progress Participate in IEP meetings and deliver expertise on occupational therapy goals Maintain accurate records and progress reports per district and federal guidelines Promote a positive, inclusive, and encouraging learning environment This is your chance to make a true difference in students' lives while working in a close-knit educational community.
