Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Experience the rewards of making a real impact in a school-based setting! This opportunity allows you to work with students in a positive, collaborative environment near Kent, WA. With a full-time contract schedule, you'll deliver Occupational Therapy services throughout the academic year, with the potential to renew for the next school year.
Key Qualifications:
Holds an active Occupational Therapy license in Washington Active Medicaid provider number, established CAQH profile, and credentialed by additional insurance companies (required) Two or more years of prior experience in a school setting preferred Strong communication skills and a passion for student success Ability to adapt and thrive within varied caseloads and evolving student needs You'll be responsible for: Conducting assessments and evaluations to determine students' unique needs Designing and implementing individualized therapy programs Collaborating with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support students' educational goals Documenting progress and maintaining up-to-date therapy records Participating in IEP meetings and contributing to plans Providing consultation, training, and resources to staff and families The position offers a consistent schedule of 35 hours each week, beginning as soon as possible and extending through the end of the school year—with the possibility of renewal into the next academic year. Caseload information will be provided soon, allowing you to prepare and tailor your approach accordingly.
