Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as an Occupational Therapist and help empower students to achieve their highest potential throughout the 2026-27 school year. This full-time position—onsite in a supportive school setting near Montesano and Aberdeen, WA—offers the chance to make a real impact with a consistent weekly schedule of 37.5 hours. As a vital member of the school team, you'll collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support students' development and participation in classroom activities. Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Active Occupational Therapist license in Washington (or ability to obtain prior to start date) Experience working in K-12 educational settings preferred Knowledge of IDEA, Section 504, and compliance requirements Strong assessment, documentation, and organizational skills Ability to design and implement Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities Comfortable working exclusively onsite
What You'll Do:
Assess students' functional abilities, develop intervention plans, and deliver therapeutic activities Manage caseloads and maintain accurate and timely documentation Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional insight to team members and families Guide students in developing fine motor, sensory processing, and life skills necessary for classroom participation Provide training and resources for staff to facilitate successful student inclusion Monitor progress, adapt interventions, and advocate for student needs within the school Bring your passion for pediatric occupational therapy to a welcoming educational environment.
