Job Description

Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Make a difference in the lives of students while expanding your professional experience as an Occupational Therapist in a supportive school-based setting near Port Angeles, WA. This contract opportunity is ideal for someone enthusiastic about working in diverse environments, from school sites to home health contexts, collaboratively supporting children's functional and academic success.
Qualifications and Experience:
Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT) Previous experience in school-based, home health, or healthcare OT settings preferred Strong understanding of pediatric therapy and individualized education programs (IEPs) Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate and deliver occupational therapy services to students with a range of developmental, physical, and sensory needs Consult with educational teams to develop and implement effective individualized strategies and accommodations Develop written reports and maintain accurate documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations Provide therapy sessions both in school settings and, as needed, through home health visits Educate families and caregivers on therapeutic techniques to enhance student progress Actively participate in IEP meetings and contribute to collaborative goal-setting for students
