Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract role supporting students' success near Puyallup, WA! As an Occupational Therapist in an educational setting, you'll help young learners thrive by promoting independence and addressing a variety of developmental and functional needs. Your expertise will empower students to overcome challenges and participate fully in their school experience.
What We're Looking For:
A master's or doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program Active OT license in the state Previous experience in schools or pediatric settings preferred Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills Genuine commitment to student well-being and inclusion
Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
Deliver evidence-based occupational therapy services to students with varying needs Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized interventions Conduct assessments, write reports, and participate in IEP meetings Provide therapy both individually and in group settings, adapting strategies as necessary Maintain detailed documentation and progress notes in accordance with school and district guidelines Promote a positive, supportive environment where each student can reach their fullest potential
