Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Bring your expertise in Occupational Therapy to a school-based contract opportunity in the Renton, WA area. This position will allow you to make a positive impact on students' engagement and participation in their everyday school activities, while collaborating with an experienced and welcoming interdisciplinary team.
Qualifications and Experience:
Masters or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution Active Occupational Therapist license in the state of
Washington Preferred:
Previous experience working in school settings or with the pediatric population Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within school systems
Responsibilities:
Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students on assigned caseloads Conduct evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and document progress in compliance with district and federal regulations Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support the achievement of student IEP and 504 goals Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student support strategies Adapt interventions to the diverse educational needs of students Remain current on best practices and continue professional development
