Occupational Therapist Job Description:
The candidate must be licensed in the State of Washington and have the ability to assess and treat patients with a range of complexities. The OT plans and provides occupational therapy program for treatment of patients in a home care setting, including but not limited to, restorative care and patient training for activities of daily living. OT Duties and Responsibilities Coordinates occupational therapy activities in collaboration with members of the interdisciplinary team Evaluates and treats the patient using evidence-based techniques. Plans an individualized occupational therapy program with a variety of sensorimotor, educational, treatments based on the individual's physical capacity, intelligence level, and interests/goals. Utilizes safe patient handling techniques for all patient transfers, lifts and positioning. Recommends and train patient and caregivers on adaptive equipment Provides instruction on fall prevention and pain management OT Qualifications Licensed Occupational Therapist BLS certification Willingness to learn and be a team-player
