Job Description
Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. An experienced Occupational Therapist is sought for a contract position serving schools during the 25/26 school year in Silverdale, WA. This role supports either two schools—an elementary and a middle school—or a combination of two smaller elementary schools alongside one middle school. The caseload includes up to 60 students, currently averaging in the mid-50s, with middle school students receiving services approximately one to two times a month, reflecting a workload focus rather than strict caseload numbers. Key responsibilities include designing and implementing effective occupational therapy interventions tailored to student needs, collaborating closely with educators and families, and managing a diverse student caseload. A minimum of 1.5 days per week of support from a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) will be provided to assist with service delivery and caseload management.
