Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a vital role supporting student growth and independence as a contract Occupational Therapist for the upcoming school year. This full-time opportunity begins in August and continues through the end of January, giving you a chance to make an immediate difference within a dedicated educational team. Leverage your specialized skills to assess, plan, and deliver interventions in a school-based setting, helping students engage successfully with their learning environments. Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and other related service providers to craft solutions tailored to each child's unique needs.
Desired Qualifications & Experience:
Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program Valid OT licensure for practice in the state Previous experience providing OT services in schools (pediatric or K-12) Strong evaluation, documentation, and communication abilities Comfortable with IEP processes and compliance requirements Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations and multidisciplinary teams
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct functional assessments and develop individualized therapy goals Implement evidence-based OT interventions directly with students Collaborate with classroom staff, special educators, and families to support student plans Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and participate in IEP meetings Advise on classroom adaptations, sensory supports, and accessibility Contribute to a positive, inclusive environment that supports student achievement This is a rewarding contract assignment where you'll witness the impact of your expertise on students' school participation and daily living skills.
