Job Description
Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Soliant is seeking an Occupational Therapist for a school-based contract position with a local school district near Sultan, WA. Previous experience working with children is desired, but not required for this school-based job. Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations, assessments, and screenings to identify students' fine motor, sensory processing, visual-motor, self-care, and functional participation needs within the educational environment.
- Develop and implement individualized intervention plans to support students' access to academic activities, classroom participation, handwriting, motor coordination, sensory regulation, and daily living skills.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education staff, families, and related service providers to integrate therapeutic strategies and accommodations that support student success and participation in school routines.
Experience:
- Previous experience in schools or pediatric offices preferred but not required
Education:
- M.S. in Occupational Therapy
- Washington Occupational Therapy License
