Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Bring your expertise in occupational therapy to a supportive elementary environment and help empower young learners to reach their fullest potential. This full-time contract opportunity is perfect for a dynamic OT ready to make meaningful connections while working on-site at a single school in the Sumner, WA area. You'll collaborate with educators, families, and fellow professionals in a positive setting, supporting students with varied needs. Whether your experience is rooted in school-based practice, home health, healthcare settings, or teletherapy, your skills will play a significant role in student success.
Qualifications:
Valid Washington OT licensure ESA State Certification Experience in school settings preferred (elementary caseloads a plus) Ability to work onsite Strong interpersonal and communication abilities Flexible, solution-oriented mindset
Responsibilities:
Provide occupational therapy services within an elementary school setting Assess and develop individualized treatment plans for students Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to maximize student participation and independence Manage and document student progress, adjusting plans as needed Contribute to IEP meetings and recommendations as part of a multidisciplinary team Offer support, training, and resources to educators for classroom-based interventions
