Requirements:
Active Occupational Therapy license for Washington State. Current CPR/BLS certification from American Heart Association or Red Cross (including AED).
Core Responsibilities:
Assess patients' physical, cognitive, and environmental status to identify functional limitations and establish measurable goals. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans using evidence-based therapeutic interventions to improve activities of daily living (ADLs), instrumental ADLs, and functional independence. Recommend, train in, and monitor adaptive equipment and assistive devices. Educate patients and families on condition management, safety, and strategies to increase independence. Document assessments, treatment plans, progress, and outcomes accurately and timely. Communicate and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care and adjust interventions as needed.
