Job Description
Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract A full-time Occupational Therapist (OT) position is available for the 2026-2027 school year in Yelm, WA. Serving a single PreK-12 school site with a consistent 40-hour per week schedule, this role focuses on providing essential therapy services to support students' educational success and overall development.
Responsibilities:
Deliver occupational therapy services aligned with Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to identify student needs Develop and implement customized therapy plans to enhance fine motor, sensory, and functional skills Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and special education teams to support student progress Maintain detailed documentation and prepare progress reports in compliance with regulations Facilitate student participation and independence within the school environmentQualifications:
Master's degree in Occupational Therapy Active Washington OT license or eligibility to obtain one Experience in school-based occupational therapy preferred but not required Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teamsLocation and Schedule:
Based in Yelm, WA, serving one school site with no daily travel required 40 hours per week, full-time position for the 2026-2027 school yearBenefits and Support:
