Job Description

Join a dedicated Early Intervention team making a meaningful difference in the lives of infants, toddlers, and their families! As an Occupational Therapist in our Birth to 3 Program , you'll deliver high-quality, family-centered services through coaching and education, helping children build independence within their everyday routines and environments. Working as part of a transdisciplinary team, you'll collaborate with families and professionals to support children with developmental delays using evidence-based practices. This role offers flexible scheduling, the opportunity to experience something new every day, and a strong team-based approach to intervention. We're seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist (Wisconsin DSPS) with strong communication skills and a commitment to supporting families. Essential Functions:
Evaluate children referred to the Early Intervention Program using standardized evaluation procedures to determine program eligibility Share expertise with families and Early Intervention team on needs related to fine motor skills and sensory integration Provide coaching for family members, other caregivers, and colleagues to promote the child's development and encourage the child's participation in home and community activities and settings Accept coaching from colleagues when appropriate in order to provide comprehensive support to children and their families Collaborate with community agencies and professionals in order to provide timely and seamless services to children and their families Develop and maintain progress reports and documentation in compliance with agency and state regulations Ensure that families receive accurate information using understandable language in a timely manner Assist families in transition to other programs by providing information and guidance when appropriate Qualifications Master's degree in occupational therapy and current licensure through the Wisconsin DSPS required Strong judgment, communication skills, and ability to maintain confidentiality required Experience working with families of children with special needs preferred Knowledge of the Birth to 3 Program and Part C regulations preferred Previous occupational therapy experience preferred
