Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting middle school students as a full-time Occupational Therapist for the 2026-2027 academic year. Located near vibrant Madison, WI, this role provides you the chance to make a meaningful impact in a supportive school environment. Responsibilities include assessing and supporting students' fine motor, sensory, and daily living skills to enhance their educational experience. You will collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists to create and implement individualized intervention plans that promote each student's success. The middle school caseload offers opportunities to work with a diverse group of students, addressing their unique needs and helping them overcome barriers to participation in the school setting.
Qualifications:
Master's degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program Current OT licensure in Wisconsin (or ability to obtain prior to start date) Previous school-based experience preferred, especially with middle school students Excellent communication and organizational skills Strong ability to work as part of an interdisciplinary team
Primary Duties:
Conduct comprehensive OT assessments for middle school students Develop, implement, and monitor individualized intervention and therapy plans Document progress and maintain records in accordance with school policies Provide consultation, training, and support to teachers and staff Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to collaborative planning Enjoy a role that values your expertise and makes a real difference each day.
