Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract An exciting opportunity is available for an Occupational Therapist to provide essential services in a school setting. This contract role spans from the start of the school year in late August through early November, offering a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week. The position is based in Middleton, WI, and involves working directly with students to support their developmental and educational goals through specialized OT interventions.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver occupational therapy services tailored to the needs of school-aged children. Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs). Assess students' functional abilities and develop customized intervention plans. Maintain accurate documentation and progress tracking in compliance with school policies. Participate in team meetings and contribute to a multidisciplinary approach supporting student success.
Qualifications:
Licensed Occupational Therapist with experience in school-based settings. Proven ability to provide effective therapeutic interventions in educational environments. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Commitment to working full-time hours during the contract period. No supervision or delegation of tasks to Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTA) and no voice-output communication devices (VOCO) use required.
