Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program Current OT licensure in Wisconsin (or eligibility to obtain) Experience working in a school-based (K-12) setting, particularly with middle school students, is highly desirable Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with teachers, families, and other school staff Dedication to delivering evidence-based interventions for students with diverse needs
Key Responsibilities:
Provide assessments and individualized therapy for middle school students, adapting techniques to address each student's unique abilities and learning goals Collaborate closely with educators, counselors, and other related service professionals to design and implement effective IEPs Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and services rendered in accordance with school and federal guidelines Offer guidance to staff and families on adaptive strategies and tools to enhance student participation in school activities Proactively participate in meetings and contribute to positive team dynamics within the school environment
