Summary We are seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our team at the Developmental Preschool and Day Care Center. In this role, you will work with children from birth to age 5, providing essential therapeutic services that promote their growth and development. Your expertise will be vital in helping children achieve their developmental milestones in a supportive and nurturing environment. Responsibilities Conduct assessments to identify children's needs and develop individualized treatment plans. Implement therapeutic interventions to enhance fine motor, gross motor, cognitive, and social-emotional skills. Collaborate with families and other professionals to ensure comprehensive care for each child. Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to meet developmental goals. Provide education and support to families regarding strategies to promote their child's development at home. Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes. Requirements Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program. Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an Occupational Therapist. Experience working with children, particularly those with disabilities or developmental delays, is preferred. Strong knowledge of medical terminology and physiology related to child development. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with families and team members.
