Job Description

Category Schools - COTA Job Type Contract Bring your expertise as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to a caring educational environment supporting students from PreK through 12th grade! A rewarding part-time contract opportunity awaits for the 2026-2027 school year, offering the perfect blend of impact and flexibility. This role is located near the scenic Mount Lemmon area, serving a caseload of 13 to 14 students one day per week for 7.5 hours.
Key Qualifications:
Current COTA certification and licensure in Arizona Experience working in schools or with school-aged children (PreK-12th grade preferred) Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to develop rapport and trust with students of varying ages and abilities Familiarity with IEP goals/documentation and educational team processes Commitment to providing high-quality therapeutic interventions in a school setting
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver occupational therapy services to students with diverse needs across all grade levels Support the implementation of individualized student goals and accommodations Collaborate with occupational therapists, educators, and families to foster student success Track student progress and participate in documentation as required by school guidelines Contribute insights and feedback as part of a multidisciplinary support team Maintain an organized schedule to meet the consistent weekly time requirement
