Job Description

Category Schools - COTA Job Type Contract Make an impact in education and support students' growth by providing occupational therapy services on a part-time, contract basis during the 2026-2027 school year. Serving schools near Angwin, CA, this role is ideal for Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTA) seeking a flexible schedule and opportunities to collaborate with dedicated professionals. With a caseload requiring 10-15 hours per week, you'll help empower students to reach their fullest potential in the classroom and beyond.
Qualifications & Skills:
Valid and current COTA license in California Recent experience working with pediatric or school-based populations Strong knowledge of occupational therapy techniques tailored for school environments Excellent communication abilities for collaborating with students, educators, and families Effective time-management skills to provide quality services within a flexible, part-time workload Adaptable and proactive, with a commitment to student-centered care
Responsibilities & Duties:
Implement individualized occupational therapy interventions under the supervision of an OTR Support students' fine motor, sensory, and functional skills, aligning with IEP goals Provide therapy in both group and one-on-one settings within school environments Document treatment progress, maintain accurate records, and contribute to IEP team meetings as needed Communicate ongoing progress and strategies with teachers and family members Contribute ideas and expertise to an interdisciplinary educational team If you are passionate about supporting students and value a flexible, part-time schedule, this is your opportunity to make a difference while advancing your career in school-based occupational therapy.
