Category Schools - COTA Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity to make a direct impact in students' lives as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for the upcoming full school year. This contract role offers a vibrant school-based setting, where you'll collaborate with educators and other therapy professionals to support student achievement and independence.
Key Qualifications:
Current certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) Valid state licensure (or eligibility) as required Prior experience in a school environment preferred Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation standards Strong communication and collaboration skills Passion for supporting diverse learners in all school settingsPrimary Responsibilities:
Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services as directed by supervising OT Assist with implementing individualized treatment plans for students with varying needs Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student evaluation and progress reports Collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff to support students' success in classrooms Maintain accurate records of sessions, interventions, and progress Adapt materials and strategies to optimize student access to curriculum Support goal development and implementation, promoting active student participationBenefits and Work-Life Highlights:
