Full Job Description Salary Range:
$33.28
  • 43.
78 plus Per Diem differential
Summary of Duties:
Assist Therapists with patient care (i.e. preparation of patients for treatment, assist patient in safe practice activities as directed by the therapists). Other related Rehab Therapy duties in all disciplines. Work hours will include PM shift hours, due to department patient care demands. Educational Requirements Minimum AA degree from a junior college Bachelor's degree desired
Licensure/Certification Requirements:
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from American Heart Association required.
Experience Requirements:
2 years of patient care experience in Rehab setting; one to five years patient care experience in an acute care setting desired.
Special Skills or Abilities:
Work experience with the following populations desired Neuro (OP, Traumatic brain injury, Post-concussion) Orthopedic Trauma Critical Care Experience and use of exercise equipment. Practice of universal precautions in a healthcare environment. Ability to analyze constantly changing situations and take appropriate action. Ability to express oneself clearly in speaking and in writing. Ability to accept feedback and constructive coaching Emotional maturity, personal and professional integrity, and interest in growth and learning.
